This Thanksgiving, Jenneh Autism Awareness International, founded byJenneh Kormoh, has made a profound impact by donating essential food, toiletries, and financial support to Iye Orphanage Home in Liberia. This initiative, coordinated by project director Sylvester Wahma, is part of a broader commitment to support orphanages across four West African countries: Liberia, Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone.

Addressing Critical Needs in West Africa

Liberia is one of Africa's poorest countries, with over 100,000 orphaned children facing dire circumstances. Many orphanages in the region struggle with severe financial constraints, limiting their ability to provide adequate care. According to a report from Lifesong for Orphans, 85% of Liberia's population lives on less than $2 a day, highlighting the urgent need for assistance in this vulnerable community. 

Jenneh Autism Awareness International’s donations are crucial not only for raising autism awareness but also for providing tangible humanitarian support. The organization aims to enhance the well-being of children in need throughout West Africa by offering both material and financial assistance to orphanages.
